The show season is a great time to socialise with other Lincoln breeders or if you are just interested in the breed it’s a perfect opportunity to come along and meet our members and their sheep.
We have two official LLSBA Sales per year, where you can buy breed inspected pedigree registered Lincoln Longwools.
The association’s annual breed sale takes place on the Sunday of the Heckington show at around 3 pm. It is a traditional sale and wonderful spectacle, conducted by Robert Bell Auctioneers of Horncastle. The sheep are sold in guineas (£1.05). There is plenty of opportunities to view the sheep and speak to their breeders before the sale commences.
