This is the official desription of a Lincoln Ram taken from the Association Flock Book.

Here is Mr Aves, shepherd to the legendary Henry Dudding with a ram, to give some idea of what we are aiming at.

The Lincoln Longwool is not only the biggest breed of sheep it also carries the greatest weight of wool.

The quality of this wool is of paramount importance and the balance between size and wool quality is the challenge all breeders face.
