This is the Official Site for the Lincoln Longwool Sheep Breeders Association.

We are experimenting with a location map to show where to find lincoln sheep breeders. Go to Members page for more details.

There have been a lot of outstanding sheep at this years shows, but special mention must be made of Michael and Julie Coneys in wool ram and gimmer. Having taken breed champion and reserve at the prestigious Lincoln Show they repeated the feat at the Royal Norfolk. Here are the winning pair, in both senses.

The lincolns have received an honurable mention in the radio program "Ramblings" recently. Clare Balding and friends were walking in Lincolnshire and came across Ian and Louise's flock on the viking Way.

The year always seems to start again once we have the AGM. We can put the rigours of lambing behind us (well most of us can) and start to look forward to the Show season. It is also a chance to catch up with fellow breeders we have not seen for a few months.

This year saw us at a new venue and very smart it was too. Roughton Village hall was pleasantly full of members and our new chairman Simon Dawson got the meeting off to a punctual start. Business was conducted very efficiently and everyone went down to Maurice's flock.

It was good to see a whole flock and they were a great cedit to Maurice. The breeding ewes with their lambs looked particularly impressive, while his show team looks like providing stiff competition this year. Here he is with his shearling ram team.

New regulations have been issued by Defra for Blue tongue, go to the "What's Going on" page for details.

The show results are coming in thick and fast now, go to the show page for pictures and results.
